FIONA’S STORY

Fiona is an award winning international keynote speaker, Executive & Empowerment Coach, Leadership and Teams Facilitator and Thought Leader. Fiona is also CEO of the She Speaks Agency - Irelands first female speakers agency.

Fiona’s core values are reliability, professionalism, passion, fairness, ambition, grit, and relationships and she lives these values every day through the delivery of her work.

Fiona started her career on the graduate programme in Irish Business Employers Confederation (IBEC) 20+ years ago which found her often at the front line negotiating and dealing with disputes between employers and employees and it was from here on in she found her passion for helping people resolve challenges, work behaviour and working with the dynamics of workplace interactions.

She later worked in organisations like Ericcson, Telefonica and RSM over the years in a variety of Senior HR People based roles, with her last corporate role as Head of Professional Services for an American Tech Sales company. It was during her time here that she went back to study her MSC in Work Behaviour and Occupational Psychology, Higher Executive Diploma in Leadership Coaching and further training in personality assessments.

From the outset of her career 20+ years ago, alongside working full time in industry,  Fiona had been facilitating and lecturing in people based topics and in early 2016 she decided to leave the corporate world and set up her own company. Fiona has a passion for helping people and through her talks, facilitation and coaching tries to live this true sense of purpose every day.

Fiona holds a master’s degree from DCU in Work Behaviour and Occupational Psychology, alongside further qualifications in Business, Training, Employment Law, Mediation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Executive coaching and Team Coaching. Fiona is also a certified and trained Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessor and Emotional Intelligence EQ-I 2.0 assessor .

Fiona is also a Senior Associate Faculty member with Irish Management Institute (IMI) and Chartered Accountants Ireland regularly delivering programmes in her field for both of these institutes. Fiona is Programme Director and Facilitator for the IMI custom and virtual Women in leadership programme.

In 2021, Fiona won the Dublin Solo Business woman of the year Network Ireland (Backed by AIB) for the growth and success of her company during the pandemic.

Fiona is a qualified and experienced master coach in both individual and team coaching. Fiona is a member of the European Mentoring and coaching council (EMCC) and won the global EMCC 2022 coaching award. Fiona was a judge for both the 2023 global EMCC Individual and Organisational coaching award.

In 2023, Fiona became a global board advisory member of The Inclusion foundation.
